Welcome! On this page, you will find a comprehensive listing of volunteer events taking place throughout the Triangle that other Key Clubs from around Division 12A have shared.

Lions Park Maintenance and Clean-Up
Event Description:
Volunteers will assist with spreading mulch in the landscape beds located in the parking lot and in front of the community center. We will also assist with litter pick up. The mulching project will allow for us to decrease the amount of weeds in the landscape beds, hold in moisture for the trees and plants, and provide an aesthetically pleasing looking to the park. The litter pick up will allow for us to provide a clean, safe environment for patrons to use and enjoy the park. Raleigh Parks staff will provide the group with gloves, tools (wheelbarrows, pitchforks, hard rakes, trash bags, pick up sticks, etc), mulch, water/snacks, a volunteer kit that includes sunscreen, bug spray, and first aid.

Animal Amble 5k and Fun Run
Event Description:
Do you love helping animals? The Animal Amble is an annual event hosted by Holly Springs High School Key Club President, Cailee Harrington, which raises money for shelter animals to increase both their health and their chances of being adopted. Volunteers for this event will work to direct racers and help to manage other race-day logistics.

Lions Club State Fair Booth
Event Description:
The Apex Lions Club has a food booth at the NC State Fair that they need to keep open for 12 days! They're looking for all of the help they can get, and this is a great opportunity to earn multiple service hours over multiple days.
