Fall Rally 2018
Fall Rally is the best opportunity your club will have all year to introduce returning, new, and prospective members to what Key Club is all about! Not only will you be given the opportunity to ride roller coasters, learn more about our amazing district, build your own funnel cake, and meet the Carolinas District Board, but you will also find an awesome introduction to Key Club and learn more about what it means to be a part of this amazing organization!

The Registration Process
1.) Collect all funds from each attendee before registering. Prices will vary per attendee for Fall Rally but make sure to collect an extra $35 from each person for transportation. The total minimum price of Fall Rally for each member will be $75.
2.) Complete the Fall Rally Registration Form, which can be found here. All funds must be made payable by one check to Carolinas District Key Club and are required to be postmarked by September 24th, 2018. This form does not register your club for transportation. You must register and pay for transportation separately.
3.) [Subject to change for 2018] Next, complete the Bus Transportation Order Form, which can be found here. When you are completing this form, make sure you check off whichever location is most convenient for your club as its meeting location. When submitting this form, make sure you mail it to Doug Bogie (address is listed on the sheet) and include $35 for each attendee. Afterward, email both elise.thrash@gmail.com and clementja711@gmail.com so they can confirm their numbers.
4.) [Subject to change for 2018] Make sure you have each attendee sign and return a Kiwanis Permission Form. Keep this form with your chaperone for the entire day of Fall Rally (including transportation from the event). This form can be found here.
5.) If your school is part of the Wake County Public School System, have each attendee sign and return this form. If your school is private or charter and is therefore not a member of WCPSS, it is strongly recommended that you draw up forms similar to these that waives liability from your school.
6.) Lastly, make sure each attendee signs and returns this form, which grants them permission from a parent or legal guardian to attend Fall Rally. Please download and edit this form where the text is highlighted in blue to fit your club's needs before distributing it to attendees. You will need a computer that is compatible with Microsoft Word to be able to edit this document.
On the Day of the Event...
1.) Make sure you arrive at your school's meeting location by 5:50 am, so buses can roll out at 6:00 am sharp and a head count can be taken.
2.) It is about a 3-hour drive to Charlotte, and we will be making no stops, so make sure all attendees use the bathroom before leaving.
3.) Once we arrive at Carowinds, your chaperone will check your club in, and distribute tickets and wristbands to all attendees. Not long after, everyone will grab his or her Fall Rally T-shirt and head into the Palladium to hear the Fall Rally presentation.
4.) When the presentation ends, attendees will be released into the park for a day of fun with other Key Clubbers from both North and South Carolina! Both lunch and dinner will be on your own while we are in the park, so bring money for food, drinks, and souvenirs.
5.) [Subject to change for 2018] Expect to be back at the buses by 5:30 pm so that we can leave by 5:45 pm. We will again, not be making stops so that we can expect to be back home around 9:00 pm.
